Poplar Springs is spread over more than 170 acres of rolling countryside in northern Virginia’s wine country. The complex draws Washington, D.C., area guests seeking day spa escapes or long weekends away from city stresses as well as vacationers who want a soothing, private destination. It also provides a stunning setting for weddings, social events and corporate retreats, conferences and meetings.
The property’s original 1929 fieldstone mansion—with soaring ceilings, stained glass and an oversized fireplace—is home to the elegant The Manor House Restaurant, which specializes in innovative American cuisine with European influences and an eclectic roster of Old and New World wines.
The restaurant's Casanova's Lounge offers highlights from our wine cellar—order a flight, order a glass or order a bottle—as well as a full selection of cocktails and liqueuers. Chef Kenneth Hughes' Small Plates menu is available in the lounge.
Our 21-room inn was designed with romance and quiet indulgence in mind. Goose-down duvets, imported linens and private balconies are just the beginning of a roster of amenities.
