Can I book online?

What are your check-in/checkout times?
Check-in is 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. Checkout is 11 a.m. on the last day of your stay.
Is a deposit required to hold my reservation?
An advance deposit, equal to the amount of the first night's stay, is necessary to confirm your reservation. Final payment is due upon departure. For our special packages, a deposit equal to the full amount of the package is required.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover cards
What is your cancellation policy?
Because of the limited number of rooms at our inn, cancellations affect us significantly. For single room reservations, the deposit will be refunded if cancellation is made at least 14 days prior to arrival. No refund is possible for cancellations made less than 14 days before the reservation date.
What is your policy on children?
As a quiet country retreat, our on-property activities are best suited for children age 12 and over. We ask that parents supervise children at all times.
Can I keep up my finess routine at Poplar Springs?
We have a yoga studio and our guests have access to Old Town Athletic Club, a top-rated fitness center in nearby Warrenton. You can also use the inn as your base for many nearby activities, from biking to hiking to horseback riding. For details, visit the Activities area of our website.
Do you provide parking?
We have free guest parking onsite.
Do we need a car?
Even if you are flying into our area, we recommend that you arrange for a car so you can take advantage of the many things to do near the inn, including tours of local vineyards, shopping and nature walks. (For details, see our Activities page.)
Do you offer airport transportation?
Let us know in advance and we'll be happy to arrange sedan service from any of the airports in our area. We are served by Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) in the District of Columbia and the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI). Two small airports nearby can accommodate private planes and corporate aircraft. Warrenton Fauquier Airport is 7 miles from Poplar Springs. Manassas Regional Airport is 16 miles away.
Do you have WiFi?
Guests have access to WiFi throughout the property, including poolside. Our guest rooms also have high-speed Internet data ports.
What do we do for breakfast?
A healthy spa breakfast is delivered to guests' rooms each morning. For a more expanded in-room breakfast, a menu is available with made-to-order selections.
I want to do some biking while at Poplar Springs. Should I bring my own bike?
Yes. The Activities section of our website has information about nearby bike rentals.
ABOUT THE MANOR HOUSE RESTAURANT
What are the restaurant hours?
Lunch is served from noon to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday.
Dinner is 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, 5:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 5:30 pm. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
Sunday brunch is 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The restaurant is also available for private groups seven days a week.

Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are recommended. Please be aware that there are occasions when The Manor House Restaurant may be closed for private events.
Do you use locally sourced food?
Yes, as much as we can—including produce from Poplar Springs' gardens. Our wine menu also contains Virginia labels and wines that are certified as biodynamic, meaning they were not produced with synthetic pesticides or fertilizers and their vineyards employ energy- and water-saving techniques.

Do I need to stay at the inn to use the spa?
Our spa is not restricted to overnight guests. In fact, many people come from the Washington, D.C., area for day treatments, and we offer special day-spa packages.
Can I book treatments online?
What is the spa's cancellation policy?
If you must reschedule or cancel an appointment, 24-hour notice is required to avoid being charged. For cancellation of a package, 48-hour notice is required.
When is the spa open?
Spa hours are Monday to Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Overnight guests can also arrange treatments in the privacy of their guest rooms.
What do I need to bring for the spa?
The spa provides a robe, towel and slippers. We also provide amenities such as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer. Bring a bathing suit (you may leave it in our locker rooms) if you would like to use the outdoor hot tub or pool.
Can I use my phone in the spa?
People using the spa are seeking quiet and tranquility. For that reason we ask guests to turn off their cell phones and leave them in their spa lockers.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes before your first appointment so you have time to check in, change and familiarize yourself with the facilities. You want to make sure there's time for your entire treatment.
My friend wants to come with me, but she doesn't want a treatment.
Your guest is welcome to take advantage of our pool or other Poplar Springs amenities for a $25 fee.
I'd like to do a mother-daughter afternoon at the spa. Are there services for children?
Your daughter can join you for a manicure and pedicure. Our Princess Mani/Pedi Combo is designed for children aged 4 to 11.
Do I disrobe entirely for a treatment?
Most of our guests disrobe completely, but you may do what makes you comfortable. We respect your privacy at all times. Our professional spa therapists will discreetly drape you during your treatments.
Are gratuities included in the spa packages?
We leave it to each guest to decide what is an appropriate gratuity. For exceptional service, 20 percent is customary.
