Chef Howard Foer and his staff strive to make every brunch, lunch, dinner—and even the small plates—a memorable experience. And they do so in an ambience that is elegant yet unpretentious: a fieldstone manor house with stained glass windows, a soaring fireplace, a richly appointed bar and a terrace overlooking a quiet rural countryside.
Our philosophy is about connections, not only connecting people to one another through food but also about connecting Poplar Springs to its location in beautiful northern Virginia. Because of that, the provenance of our food is important. Much of it is locally sourced and seasonal, including from our own gardens. The result is a refined, flavor-rich menu with a European flair. It’s complemented by a happy, eclectic wine list.
